INTRODUCTION: The present report is a technical summary of the most interesting papers that were published on Benford's Law, plus a few experiments that the (sceptical) author performed on real datasets. The mathematical part includes nothing really new, as many of the theorems and proofs were only detailed by the author, who thus made them easily understandable. Some of the sections are not as complete as the author would wish them to be, but all the major contributions are described
